Moose Jaw won their game 7 last night to advance.
Howden had 4 goals and 3 assists in round 1.
Nice, that was a tough series.
@NYRStatsInfo: Howden finished Game 7 with an assist on the game-winning goal, a game-high 25 faceoff wins (25-for-36; 69.4%), and three shots on goal to help Moose Jaw advance to the second round of the WHL Playoffs.
He has to. It will be a disaster if he doesn't.
Not much talk about this guy. Of all the pieces we got for McD/Miller, this guy is what I was most excited about. His point total is good, had a good WJC and he's also captain on his team. Really looking forward to watching him for the Pack next year.
Here's some info. Scored 2 goals last night, including the OT winner, to give Moose Jaw a 2-1 series lead. He also won 18 out of 30 faceoffs (60%).
@NYRStatsInfo: Five of Howden's six goals thus far in the playoffs have either given Moose Jaw the lead or tied the game, and three of his six goals have been scored in either the third period or overtime. #NYR

They lost game 4, but Howden had an assist and was a +2 in a 3-2 2OT loss. He took 58 FO's, so I guess he had a shit load of ice time.
King, you're awesome. It's like mining the back alley of the forum to find cool tidbits. Howden is definitely playing in Hartford next year. Will be fun to follow, kid seems like a sure thing even if he never turns into a 1C.
Zuc, At least we got one of their top 5 prospects. Hopefully Hajek turns into a key piece too.
With his team trailing 3 games to 2, on the road, down 2-0 in the 3rd period, Howden had the only assist on Moose Jaw's first goal and scored the game tying goal with ~9 min left. Moose Jaw won in the 3rd OT. Game 7 tomorrow...
Got their asses handed to them in game 7, 6-0. Howden -2 and 15/22 in FO's.
7 goals, 8 assist for 15p in 14 playoff games. See ya next year!
Hayes replacement?
That type I think, yeah. But, could be Getzlaf too, who knows.
King, bringing the updates! Appreciate it, you too Zuc. Dunny, at least we were able to pry one of their top prospects from Stevie. He has the ability to score goals, so it will be hard to project his upside yet. Next year we'll get a great look at what he might be in Hartford. I assume Hajek and Lindgren will be there too. Anyone know more on Hajek or the others starting in Hartford next year?
