I watched all four over the weekend. They're really good. Really scary. Lineup is really top heavy, though.

Should have just played yesterday. Sunny and 50s by 2pm. Even if they delayed it to 4-5pm it would have been better than today.

Demanding fans. As a yankee fan, that was fucking stupid. Especially during the season opener.

If Stanton gets hurt this is a 3rd place club, or worse. They can't touch the Jay's depth, could be a good race.

    Fuck Boston.

How is the Yankees winning 12-1 a debacle for a Yankee fan?

The reason being is the hitters for the Yanks, except Stanton (thank Mr.Jeter for that Trade, mostly for prospects) have been hitting pretty well so far. NYY fans should be pleased about how their team is doing offensively.

I don't think debacle means what you think it means.

    never bet on the Mets

Looks like they wasted their ace pitchers. Harvey is finished, Wheeler is middle of the road, Matz wilts under pressure. DeGrom & Syndergaard are legit aces but will eventually hit 30M/year market value but the Mets won't pay, and that's if DeGrom doesn't blow out his elbow. They're going to trade those two guys for a package of prospects and it's going to be a 5 year rebuild without ever having won anything. Pretty much what happened with the Phillies except they got their title in '08

Yankees will acquire Zach Britton from BAL in exchange for three prospects (all pitchers: Dillion tate, Josh Rogers, and Cody Carroll). HOU, CHC, & BOS were among the teams willing to trade for Britton. He is a free agent at the end of this season

That was a good pick up by the Yankees and he's a good pitcher.

So is Happ. He is an innings eater, which can save up the bullpen. All we need to is add a right-handed power hitter (DH) and put Giancarlo back in right field.
