Also what's the expectation of what he signs for? It shouldn't be much more then what Mike Evans just signed for
Maybe, but those plays aren't sustainable. The best WRs put up big numbers without doing that.

$18m puts him and Eli at a cap hit of over $40m

If they sign Odell they would most definitely try to restructure Eli next year when his cap hit goes up

I hope he proves me wrong this season with Macadope gone but itís time to move on from Eli.

After sleeping on this whole Beckham ordeal Iím 50/50 on whether they should look to trade him or resign him. I just donít want a drawn out standoff and/or him eventually leaving for nothing.

Much like the Rangers Iím prepared for several years of struggles if it builds a major contender 3-4 years down the road. Yes, things can improve quicker in the NFL (ex: Eagles) but that is not a likely scenario.

Times like this is when I hate twitter. Conflicting reports everywhere. Especially when reports cherry pick a quote from Giants brass. Itís got people going crazy.

If the Giants are indeed listening to trade offers on Odell, any 1st round pick deal not in the top 10 + you hang up.

Giants are crazy if they are looking to ship the best receiver in the game.

You build and draft around talent. Not shop it.

The eagles went from worst (or near worst) in the NFCE to winning it all with Nick Fucking Foles.

Couple of nice pieces added in the draft, a Barkley and a OLine coupled with a hope an all-world D of 2 years ago can return = they can make a push.

So basically sign him because you can get lucky and not suck next year?

Still no one has explained how it's worth it to keep him.

The Future for Odell Beckham Jr. as a NY GIANT

Eli is far better with ObJ in the team. I donít think thatís luck.

I think you add another weapon in Barkley and be even more potent, strengthen the line a little more and hope you the D returns to its aforementioned form of two years ago. If it doesnít. Try and out score the Giants. Good luck.

I think you go win now. Add the pieces to what you have. Not strip it down.

Granted, itís not an approach for all. But itís how Iíd role the dice.

Not to state the obvious but sign him for how much? Trade him for what? I'd do it for Cleveland's 4th pick. Have a contract talk with him and see how far apart you are. I don't do it for the 23rd pick from the Rams.
    In 1994 I thought I could die in peace...now I'm hungry again.

Yeah, the 4th would be great. Draft Barkley someone who can be a generational talent with the exact opposite (non diva) attitude as OBJ. Grab a QB or Chubb or Nelson with the other pick and go from there

A late first round pick is not enough.

I fully ready for a rebuild with no Eli or ODB on the roster within 2 years.

I disagree to an extent, but I like that reason better than the other dumb shit.
