QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

[table=width: 630, align: center]

[tr]

[td=align: center]

?For me, the rest of the year is about wanting to be able to feel good about myself and about us. I don?t want to look at the big picture and break everything down. I?m not looking ahead to next year. I?m not thinking about whether to play in the World Championships. I just want to take it day by day and play my best for this team. That?s the challenge. When it?s over, there will be time to reflect about what happened and look ahead. But not so much now.?

You're cheering for a better pick, a better player, a better future. Fuck the penguins

I'll cheer for fucking anyone as long as it improves our chances at a top pick.

Might even do a quick fist pump if the Isles get something against the Capitals later.

I dont think we are in the running for a top 3 pick, and dont care if we pick 4th or 19th. so I'm not too worried about it.

what? How could you not care about that lol.

I look at draft picks realistically, not optimistically. you always have a few top candidates, a bunch of strong candidates, and a bunch of guys that entered the draft.

Outside the top 2 foreign wingers, I dont really care if we end up with Boqvist or Wuu... We need top-line game breakers. There is no one that sticks out, outside the top few picks.

That still makes no sense. If you said you didn't care between the 8th pick or the 12th pick thats one thing, but 4th and 19th??

Just because we need top-line talent doesn't mean we dont need good players aswell.

yeah, hopefully if we draft a good player, and they develop, they can turn into Kreider, Miller, Staal, Del Zotto, etc. You know, all the guys that werent good enough, as a core. And that's if everything goes well.
