They actually stand a significant chance of winning this game.

 

Yeah, that is one uninspiring group of forwards on a team that looks to be mired in mediocrity hell forever.

 

Might as well catch them and the Isles, and still have no chance to make the playoffs. :rolleyes:

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

 

Oh I dunno, they came out and played hard in Florida, where they've been unbeatable. Spooner is racking up the $ and sees a future here as a speedy winger who is not expected to bang bodies. Names is one happy go lucky positive kid. Staal even seemed happy for the first time since before Cally was traded.

 

This is a must win for the Canes, so they'll play hard. But with our luck we'll get another point. :D

Also, it is obvious Julien expected Spooner to play C and be strong defensively and more physical. He isn't really a good faceoff guy either. He's a good playmaker and passer who can distribute from the wing the way Zuc did the last few years.
