How the fuck is Zipay guessing - especially after he's been so hostile towards NYR bloggers and Twitter with his whole "I'm around the team" shit.

The NYR beat is awful. Not one insight has come from any of them.

There are not leaks like there used to be. Especially around the deadline. He will have very little beats when it comes to that.

As far as everyday shit - yes, he obviously has the inside track over some kid sitting in his apartment looking at HFboards.

If there aren't leaks, then there is no reason for beat writers, so they probably shouldn't be so cocky, is my point.

What everyday shit? They don't say anything insightful ever. Other than line combos in practice they don't say anything that some kid in his apartment couldn't.

Future, it is not every single beat reporter, just our beat reporters. They are god awful, can not breakdown a game, matchups, the type of defenses team play, anything. They don't get inside scoops because no one likes them, respects them or trusts their objective ability to understand hockey the way a subject matter expert should. The team and players know these guys are not passionate and knowledgable about hockey.

Uncle Larry hasn't found anything worth writing about on the forum yet.

They're especially awful on twitter. Always like 5 steps behind news wise, and guys like Hartnett post more about soccer than anything happening with the team.

Looking like Nash and Grabner might both sit tonight.

    @BrettCyrgalis

Neither Rick Nash nor Michael Grabner will play for #NYR tonight. Team closing in deals, so right now, this is just precautionary. Lettieri and Carey will be in.

Gonna miss watching those two play for the Rangers. Hope to see them back with a hometown discount.

No way the Rangers trade Grabs tonight if we are not getting a 1st or equivalent prospect, right?

Would think they are really happy with the return on both. Otherwise, why pull the trigger early?

What are the odds a trade happens tonight/tomorrow?

If not Today/tomorrow, I'd guess Sunday or Monday.

Boston strong rumor for both Nash and Grabs

So what do they have that would be good returns for us?

Was more curious based on leaving them out and precedent. Does it usually mean imminent? If not, doesn't it weaken your position come Monday?

I only remember 1 or 2 situations where guys were pulled and didnt play. Seems rare, but, I could just been ignorant to it in the past.
