P and C's tomorrow and there's still a tonne of FA's on the market. What a weird off season.

On a sad note for today's opener.

Mets legend Rusty Staub dead at 73

    https://nypost.com/2018/03/29/mets-l...ub-dead-at-73/
Rusty Staub, the orange-haired outfielder who became a huge hit with baseball fans in two countries during an All-Star career that spanned 23 major league seasons, died Thursday. He was 73.

He died after an illness in a hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida, hours before the start of the baseball season, the New York Mets said in a statement. The team learned of the death from friends of Staub who were with him at the time, a spokesman added.
    RIP Rusty

Baseball has become unwatchable. Was a huge fan. I’m tying to watch this game right now and it seems like it’s either a walk a strikeout or a home run. Is there anybody in the league that can make contact when all you need is a fucking ground ball or a sac fly. The infield shift is a joke that a mlb player wouldn’t just slap the balm the other way especially when a base runner is needed or a single wins the game. Baseball always was borderline boring. Now with almost zero situational hitting or even contact it’s unwatchable

Too many pitches and every batter is trying to work the count.

This is the team I expected this year. Hope I'm wrong and this isn't the turn of their season.

Let see how they bounce back. That game brought back many ugly flashbacks late.

What I should've said was, this is the bullpen I expected this season. I think their starting pitching and lineup are good IF they stay healthy.
