Value goes up hopefully. I like both players both have value. Both don’t have contracts beyond this year
Never said he was a scrub. You two seem to think that trading him is a complete rebuild which is a joke being he has 18 points.
No, you seem to be missing the point. In the playoffs at the deadline = no trades. Out of the playoffs at the deadline = trade them. That's how it works. You don't give up playoff runs to cross you fingers during the draft.
So if I wait a week and the rangers are 1 point out my opinion is correct. Oh ok. Just posted to early.
Looks like a contender to me
There's 6 weeks of games to play before the trade deadline. 20 more games after today. The actual game results will determine what Gorton does. Opinion has nothing to do with it. I'm not against trading them. I'm saying its not gonna happen if they're in a playoffs spot. Not really that hard to understand.
I’m fine with that and understand that point probably even agree with you. However that is not what you were posting. Your posts have vitriol in them for me even having such a blasphemous opinion of selling two ufas.
Unfortunately how the team plays and consistency does matter. 43 games in and this team has only consistently never shown up for 60 minutes. Results aside come playoff time you will lose with that being your dna.
A dude called the Steve Somers radio show the other night ... talking about the trade deadline and Nash.
In classic Somers style, the schmoozer said,
"people talk about all the little things he does ... but if the Rangers trade Nash, how are they going to replace all those goals he doesn't score?"

If n ya gots jowls, they might as well be furry ones.
Actually, I've stated consistently that no team in any sport is going to trade themselves out of a playoff spot.
They can do that without any trades.
Haha. This thread is awfully silent. Should last a day. Watch out Pittsburgh here comes the champs
If Nash continues this scoring drought, the only thing we’ll be picking is our noses.
Doesn’t matter you still trade him. He’s gone regardless. No matter how bad his drought goes you will at least get a similar deal the Eric Staal stole from us. Two twos.
14 regulation wins in 43 games all season. Be fooled all you want by the nhls inflation of points. Playoff games are not played three on three or breakaway contests.
Hard to believe 14 regulation wins in 43 games.
