I feel like the last ten minutes of this game have been one giant penalty kill where we can't ice it.

Great fckn mess of a playoff feel game -- both teams wanted it.
Terrific character win for this team -- hope they build on their identity from it.
If n ya gots jowls, they might as well be furry ones.

Seriously. He sent Hornqvist into the second row. LOL.

Sometimes you need a bounce off of a skate, and that was a doozy.

Didn't get to see too much of this game but really like seeing that we beat the Pens in Pittsburgh. Big 2 points without sharing any with the Pens.

More importantly, on the road with no Hank and Pavelec in net.

Gotta say, this one was satisfying. We could play better, but beating Pitt in their shitty arena feels good.

What really sucks imo is how critical a game like this is so early on. We're 4 points off the division lead and if the season ended today would be out of a playoff spot.

At a loss why Staal is out there so much in big spots, but he was all over Crosby at the end.

Huge, huge, huge win!! We really played like a cohesive team. Pavelec was good right to the end.

    Pavelec was fine tonight.
Both sides had a ton of scoring chances that, should have, but didn't go into the goal.
Why does Malkin decide to play like a beast against the Rangers? You can watch the guy for weeks and not really notice him too much. Tonight, he seemed like he never came off the ice.
For anyone wanting to move McDonagh, watch last nights game again. He is a stud and does it with 1/2 a d partner.

The whole premise of moving McDonagh is for a rebuild.

Rebuild what? Why? With whom? The last Capt. the NYR moved is alive and well in Tampa and is contributing mightily to their current success.

Terrific road win with the much maligned Ondrej Pavelec in goal. Pitts with 44 SOG. Way to go team.
