Is it just me, or is Rick Nash playing out of his mind lately? The guy is all over the place, and making plays that are fantastic!! I hope he scores a few more! He's done everything but bury a few.

Doing everything but putting the puck in the net. And he's rightthere. The goals are gonna come.

Let's have a nice, 4-1 breezy game and 2 points from a lesser without any drama.

He's been playing the same way for years.

Not worth the $$$, but he's the best all around player on the roster and it's really not even close.

I was always a fan of Nash, and when he came here I felt like we had a very legit 40+ goal scorer. He's turned out to be a lot different than what I envisioned. Has has so much more than just the offensive prowess. He is truly a complete player, which is way different than the expectations I had with him originally. I kept waiting for his big 50 goal season.

I think overall, his tenure with us has been pretty good in that he has been one of our best players, if not THE best player night in and night out. I still find myself appreciating his smart play and just his ability to control the puck so well in the offensive zone. I would love to see him go on an absolute tear and score 10 goals in 6 games. He totally has it in him, and he's been robbed quite a few times over the last several games.

Gonna be interesting to see what we do with him at the trade deadline or after the season.

Same here, it's shame he's lost that elite finishing touch but on the other hand I find him a joy to watch. I think he'd be able to play in to his 40's if he wants.

He scored 40 goals and probably would have all of his first three seasons if not for the lockout and then getting his brain scrambled.

If he doesn't finish it doesn't matter. It's all about the goals. Nash does everything but finish these days.

Yep. You pay a forward 7m to score goals. If he's not doing that, he's not doing his job. Rick Nash at 4m would be a great player but that's not the world we live in.

the panthers are the epitome of a team that you should beat. but on the road mid-week the arena will be dead, so nyr will have to generate their own energy.

florida has some scorers so if nyr come out flat they could be looking at an early deficit
