LGR, would be an impressive win

MSL trade was an easy win for the Rangers. I wish he came back for another season.

Was more or less kinda asking your opinion and not trying to change facts. Pretty much why I added the hindsight comment at the end.

I did say they should let Callahan walk, so they wouldn't be strapped with that contract. There were plenty of middle of the road free agents that they could have signed that summer.

Are you against talking arm chair GM shit past and present?

In 93 games with the Rangers he scored 22 goals What exactly did you like about his stay here? I felt he was a burden and had little chemistry with anyone while here. IMO he was very UN-MSL as a Ranger.

Callahan was offered a better deal by Sather before he was traded than what be eventually got from TBL. Would understand if both Callahan and Girardi think they way Tortarella used them hurt their careers long term. But Callahan has nobody to blame but himself for making a very stupid financial decision.

Can anyone explain Holden in for Smith?

Why would you let your captain walk for nothing? He was definitely gonna get paid by someone. Why not get something in return? MSL was a ppg player at that time. You can't blame management for his sudden downfall. He was showing no signs of decline.

That's not my point, my point is he's not that good, of course we had to sweeten the deal to get the league leading goal scorer at the time.

6:05 gone by...and we’ve been in their zone for 5:30 of it.

THAT is the kind of starts we need.

Relatively solid start vs. a good team. The post may hurt.

Decent start but this feels like one of those that Lundqvist lets up a softie to kill any confidence they might have.

I don't get excited until I see 25 mins, consecutively , of good play

    Awfully quick whistle there.

No penalty for dropping the gloves to Hedmen?
