Can be seen on NHL Center Ice even if you don't have a subscription. Tonight is the last night of the free preview.

Apart from the no goals, I've actually liked Grabner and Nash together on a line. There's been a few 2 on 1 opportunities with wide/missed shots. Hope they can start putting some into the net.

DeAngelo and Smith both healthy scratches. Chytil sent to the AHL.

Best scratched defensive pair for a long time. Poor McDonagh must be playing with trade request fantasies in his head. LGR!

Part of me wonders if sticking with Holden/Kampfer isn't a showcase to gauge interest on moving one of them. The Rangers aren't going to carry 8 D forever, and I doubt they want to lose either via waivers for nothing.

I mean, I hope. I know it's only the fourth game, but Holden and Kampfer were heavily out chanced last game. I'm not seeing enough evidence there to suggest sticking with the lineup that won is a better choice than upgrading the team's weakest pairing in that very game.

So much for setting a record for shutout streak.

Is this a nonchecking game tonight? Open skate?

St. Louis coach looks like the guy who argued with Costanza about backing in and pulling into a parking spot and then Jerry Seinfeld put him in his trunk.

    PP looks good again.
