    http://www.nydailynews.com/entertain...icle-1.3536756

Rocker Tom Petty has been pulled off life support after being rushed to the hospital Sunday in cardiac arrest, TMZ reports.

The “Free Fallin’” singer, 66, was reportedly found unconscious and not breathing in his Malibu home, and was subsequently taken to the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, where he "had no brain activity."
Saw him in Queens in July.

    RIP

It's not true, he is still alive. He is fighting for his life, but he hasn't died yet. Those reports are false, but I would guess it's a matter of time before he actually does pass. This year sucks for rock music. Chris, Chester and soon to be Tom, WTF.

RIP Tom, a true American Rock Icon. Your music and soul will be greatly missed.
