    He's 23. Not NHL ready, and doesn't have a ton of time to progress, compared to an 18 year old. If he wants to have a successful NHL career, he needs to come hard and play now. He should make that team, get top 6 minutes, play a role he's comfortable playing, and get good chances to put up points as he adjusts to that game. Plus, Colorado has guys he can play with. Vancouver doesn't, and NJ has too many young guys with higher potential that would probably get looked at before him. And he wouldn't make this Rangers squad, imo.
