Does the 11 game rule not apply to guys playing overseas?

Hartford is a terrible place to develop talent. Who is the last guy that spent a full season that came up and did something?

    pffft.

Dude has a career high of 45 points, playing on a line with a Calder winner and a hart/Lindsey/Ross winner.

And that was almost 10 years ago

    Girardi and Anisimov since... ???
    That's fucking terrible. Embarrassing.

New coach. New system. I'd be willing to give McCambridge benefit of the doubt. With Drury as GM and McCambridge as HC it's a lot different than the days of Gernander and Schoenfeld.

I still think it's better for him to play in the Czech Extraliga. Maybe he'll get more minutes there. I think there's too much competition for him in Hartford right now. Let him get more ice time there. He has two years of slides given his age.

Skjei and Lindberg. Miller, Zuc, and Fast all played a half season.

Hard to say Hartford is a terrible place to develop talent, when we haven't been sending much talent there...

Majority of those guys were down there to get accustomed to the NA game.
And thank god we didn't leave them there!

Again, 10 years and we've named ONE dude that put up an average of 33 points with the Rangers. Yippee!!

Find me a anything where you can produce that little and you'd still invest in.

I wonder what his Czech contract is like. If allowed, I'm sure the Rangers could pull some strings and have him replace Anderson in Frolunda, assuming Anderson is in the NHL or AHL.

Also, thinking outside the box, what are the rules about him playing major junior? 1) Do the Rangers have any pull getting North Bay to trade his rights to a better team? 2) Given he was drafted out of Europe, if he starts the season in the OHL does he have to stay there the whole year? Maybe treat him like a baseball draft pick. Give him the first half the year in the OHL and second half in the AHL if possible...

Girardi played a season and a half. Callahan and Dubinsky played a season in the A.

Vesey, Del Zotto, Staal and McD made the jump right to the NHL.

Given the lack of top draft pics we've had what more do you want? What AHL team is turning 3rd and 4th round picks into NHL top 6 players on a regular basis?

Don't know much about Filip, but if he's anything like his brother Don I'm excited at the prospect.

Everybody, mark my words: kids a steal.

Would have been top 10 next draft. Great pick. Great signing. Can't wait to see him in blue.
