    QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“We’ve been playing a certain style this season that’s permitted us to get into the playoffs,” he said. “We’ve shown in this series in moments we play that way we’re a hard team to play against. You make minor adjustments as far as making a read or a puck decision that could help your game, but as far as the overall way of (changing) how we’ve played or how we’ve had success, obviously that’s not going to happen.”

I'm going to watch this game with zero expectations, since majority of this roster shows zero effort/intensity.

Interesting quote selection by AV there in the GDT. Was that quote selected intentionally to foreshadow the theme of the offseason if they Rangers get eliminated by Montreal?

Better come out and play with some determination tonight.

Here's a little bit more hope, going to the game tonight, Rangers are 6-0-1 in games ive been to this year (SO Loss to Florida).

All I can say is I watched all 4 games last night. Of the 8 teams participating in those 4 games, there was not one team whose effort could be labeled as pathetic.

Tonight better be different than Sunday.

Just proves AV's inability or flat refusal to adjust. You can't win playoff games by relying on breakaways and individual efforts. It just doesn't work that way.

Need a little bit of what Nashville, Ottawa, Toronto are offering... Just a tad, you know. It sure would be refreshing to see an A+ 60 minute effort from all hands. Haven't seen that yet in these play-offs.

I wuz gonna say, if folk want to watch some playoff hockey, last night, watch Toronto. That was some desire and talent there.

Let's put it this way, if they turn in another effort like they did Sunday (such putridness which I think is unlikely), fuhgeddabout the foreshadowing of postseason changes, someone else should be behind the bench. for. the. very. next. game; I don't even care if it's the strength and conditioning coach or a rented Nassau Coliseum ice girl.

That said, going into this, I will endeavor to remember we were 17 seconds from taking a 2-0 series lead.

Well knowing the Rangers they're going to bounce back with a lucky 1 goal win tonight and then play a dominant road game in Game 5. With everyone expecting them to close out the series, they're going to get humiliated in Game 6 at home, likely a shutout. And then we all know how Rangers Game 7s go...

Yes, last night's games were exciting and depressing at the same time.

The Rangers show very little urgency or energy like what we saw last night.

I think the Rangers are 4-0 in playoff games where I'm flying during the game. This is the case tonight so I think we're good to go.

I've never found myself less interested in a playoff game than I am tonight. I'm confused by Kreider, Miller, Stepan, Hayes, and Nash all being less than stellar. Something has to give with one of them here...

Nash? He's been one of their better forwards.

He had a good game 2 but damn...I'm expecting more than 4 shots in the other two games combined. 1 goal, -2, and 10 total shots in 3 games...I guess compared to some others that's okay but clearly not good enough still.
