I hadn't even read it yet prior to posting. Just finished...
He's such a fucking "kid." hahahaha

Yandle's playoff pump piece was better.

    What a bro.

Thought it was cool that BGBB still gave a helping hand despite having gone over to Tampa.

Before reading this I was convinced the Rangers will be able to flip the switch and win this series against a team that is surely worse than them. Now? Not so sure.

That was the most boring and unexciting pump up piece I've ever read, which is probably not a coincidence coming from the most boring and unexciting player I've ever watched. I'll give Hayes credit for making a big improvement on his terrible season last year, but this kid is writing like he's some sort of superstar.

I was healthy scratched for the playoffs but I worked real hard this summer because I didn't like it one bit and now I'm ready to play again guys! Plus, New York is great because celebrities and stuff! Yay!

    Give me a fucking break.

He sounds like someone getting ready to be shutout by Montreal tonight.

The first thing I had to do when reading his article was to go and look up on Wikipedia who Bradley Cooper even was. I don't fucking want to read a Player's Tribute article to learn about Hollywood fucking celebrities.

I mean, that article was fine. It made me like Brian Boyle even more than I already do.

I think somewhere along the line NYC's image has become this city of rich people doing rich people things. Bradley Cooper and Avicii out to dinner or whatever. Honestly, my favorite Ranger team was the "Black and Blueshirts" in 2011-2012. Yeah, they couldn't score and they were frustrating as fuck but that year and the years before and after were when I felt most connected to the team. Just a bunch of fucking grinders essentially just putting in a hard effort every night. I felt like they really represented the city then. Maybe they didn't, but that's how I felt.

Last year's team, this team, I just feel nothing toward them. Obviously I hope they do well, but I don't really have that same connection and Kevin Hayes kind of summed that up here with his attitude. The thing about NYC that makes it amazing is not fucking Bradley Cooper and Avicii. It's everyone else that sinks their last dollar into tickets so they can go to one or two games a year.

    Next year's will read:

I learned a lot from last season. Being swept by Montreal left a lot of bad tastes in everyone's mouths. I feel like we've all grown up a lot and have more desire to win those extra battles and put the puck in the net.

When we were in MTL, I'll never forget running into Celine Dion in a speakeasy. I'll never forget what she said, "Nous sommes terrible," so that's kinda stuck with me.

Cue, "My heart will go on."

Why would Celine say "We are terrible"?

She would say "Vous êtes très terrible!"

cmon dude, you really going to base your opinion of this series based on a players tribune article by Kevin Hayes, who if we are being realistic, seems like a pretty dumb dude to begin with?

I think some people are taking this article a little bit too seriously and personally

No, that part was a joke. I still expect us to win this series because we are the better team who should be hungry and healthy and will be ready to sell the squad if they don't make it happen.

The rest of it was not a joke
