    Henrik Lundqvist Out 2-3 Weeks With Lower-Body Injury; Magnus Hellberg Re-Called

    @NYRangers
    OFFICIAL: #NYR Henrik Lundqvist will be out 2-3 weeks with a lower body injury.

    @stevezipay
    Lundqvist out for this stretch kind of surprising, seemed to be walking and stretching without pain in Carolina

    Uh ohhhhh. Mehh. Raanta had stretches in his career when he had to be the starter for a few weeks, and did real well.

    This team is falling apart injury wise..

    Could be a blessing if it resets him mentally and physically for the playoffs. I'm all for the wildcard at this point anyway.

    It didn't turn out so badly for him in 2015.

    Sadly, " The King " is not as durable as in the past. He has gotten pounded over and over and the players watch the action and do nada. Get will Hank. This could be the difference going forward.

    It is believed that Lundqvist suffered hip strain in first period in Florida on Tues...then made 36 saves on 38 shots final 40 minutes.

    The team isn't responsible for him having a hip or groin issue. It's not like he's been getting run by the opposing teams.

    This team makes it look like it doesn't matter if he does. Man that shit is infuriating.

    That's been the case for years, though. I think I remember McDonagh dropping a guy twice in his career for pulling some shit. It's just how the players on the team are. Most players are like that these days.

    They'll be fine. Could be a blessing in disguise regarding rest for the playoffs.

    Oh, I know. I guess I just continue to hope someone will react when that happens. There are maybe a handful of teams that go ape shit on players when that happens. It's nice to see

    You know exactly what caused the injury? I don't so please enlighten me if you do. I DO know that does get hammered and not a single player lays a mitt on the perp.

    @bheyman99 Henrik Lundqvist says it's a hip injury that he suffered in the 1st period Tuesday night vs Florida. #Rangers #nyr

    He has a muscle strain in his hip. I'm no doctor, but I don't think that's a result of his "getting hammered."
