Pitching or the lack thereof did the transplanted Dodgers in last nite, losing 5-3. Can't get 2 innings from your starter or get the first pitch over for a strike makes for a frustrating game. Can they win a game in Texas?

    Meanwhile

Hollywood leaped to a 3 run lead in top first, extended to 4 in top 4, then Hst tied it in bottom 4.

Top 5, Hollywood went up 7-4 only have AL MVP tie it at 7 in bottom 5 with a 415 ft bomb to CF

On it went with Hollywood taking a 9-7 lead to bottom of nine with closer Jansen on mound.

Boom 2 run shot to tie it at 9.

Finally in bot 11, Houston shut down the rollercoaster taking their only lead of the game for the win

Are you applying for sports center or some sort of broadcasting job?

This has been a fun World Series to watch, back and forth

Your recap after the 5th inning is pretty far off from what actually happened. Long story short:

Top 7: LA takes an 8-7 lead
Bot 7: Hou takes an 11-8 lead
    Top 8: 11-9
    Bot 8: 12-9
    Top 9: 12-12
    Bot 10: 13-12

Brooklyn Dodgers bombed out despite a ton of offense. The " ACE " of the staff couldn't deliver and neither could the closer, Janssen. Exciting as all get out to watch. Boy, that stadium is noisy. A blessing because it drowns out most of the blather and bloviating put forth by the myriad of announcers that permeate the telecast. Looking forward to the next 2 in Tinseltown.

showed up big time? They were one hit till the 6th inning. If Verlander doesnt hit Utley, its most likely a different ballgame. Astros out hit them 6-5. Dodgers had the good fortune of the Astros not busting the game open when they had Reddick/Verlander up with 2nd and 3rd and 0 out in the 5th inning. Anywhere else in the order the Astros probably would have gotten a run or 2.

Yup. Showed up big time. If winning game 6 to tie the series going against arguably, the top pitcher in the AL isn't big time then what is? If, probably? If Utley isn't positioned properly, probably, the Astros get a hit and the game might've turned out differently. But he was and they didn't. If Pederson doesn't awake after being in the minors, left off the roster for one series............ One more to go for Brooklyn.

Could woulda shoulda lol... the Dodgers find ways to win games and last night was no exception.

This has been one of it not the most fun baseball playoff series I've ever watched... you literally can't script these games any better

When someone says that the team showed up big time, I think of the pitcher being lights out, and/or the offense going on a barrage. Verlander pitched better than Hill, and both offenses were subpar. Its been a good series from what I was able to watch before 10:00 PM (thanks Dave Roberts). Trying to find time to watch a replay of Game 2.

Say Hey! Oh, wrong analogy. Exciting series to say the least.Dodgers gave a valiant effort; Pitching & defense prevail once again, even tho' there was a ton of offense from both sides. No shame for the Brooklyns. Too bad it wasn't like the days of yore with Dem Bums vs. the Bronx Bombers! Did the Astros survive the clubhouse celebration given their on field antics after every offensive outburst? They sure have some superlative players and deserve a hearty congrats on their victory. Well done champs.
