    On the positive side

Half season folks are now being treated like valuable cusromers. We now longer have to race on line at a specified time and hope that there are seats we like and can afford every season

We can renew our current seats immediately for the next season and get our half PS tickets too with options to view upgrades if available and obtain full post season tickets too

The seven instalment option to pay and payment for PS games only after they are played are also part of the package.

I do believe Half Season Ticket holders pay more per ticket than full season so you're really not treated as a valuable customer.

Not having to pay for 20 or 21 additional mostly meaningless regular season games played at 50% effort by both teams is well worth the difference IMO

If anybody has a line on, or would like to dispose of a pair of playoff tix, I would like a pair if dates work out for me.

    Not concerned about location.

also new for next year, variable pricing like the mets. So some games priced higher (weekends or vs penguins, for example) and some lower (like november weekday vs Florida, or preseason). they also broke out the 200 level corners into corner and goal as a new pricing category

so as a STH would we see how much each game costs or will each ticket say $78? or is that just a ticketmaster thing where it will be variable pricing? At this point i think its horseshit that we have to pay for pre-season games, thats 3 games that gets eaten making the burden even more on selling tixs on the secondary market to make up the difference.

Each ticket will have a different price

The whole thing is horseshit, they are commoditizing their core fanbase which is always a dangerous game as soon as demand peaks and/or the team stops performing. IMO the renovation effect maxed out this year, plus there are less tourists because of the Trump effect so I see the market softening next year. That will be compounded by more people selling games to justify the cost and bring prices lower so full STH are going to start taking losses on their resales. Of course everything gets forgotten if they make a run to the finals. Meanwhile the turds in orange are so embarrassing Dolan hasn't had the stomach to increase prices since 2013-14 and Ranger fans are subsidizing their failures

Exactly what I told my ticket rep....He was adamant that Rangers season ticket prices has nothing to do with the Knicks sucking and the lack of increase on Knicks season tickets, I just rolled my eyes. There will be a time and it may be next season that ticket prices bubble will burst and people will not be able to buy/sell tickets for the prices on the secondary markets, and STH will no longer be able to afford the tickets especially with MSG wanting their cake and eating it too. They want as much $$$ as possible and make the most w/o the secondary market involved. I havent figured out how much I would be willing to sell my tickets next year to offset the price of the pre-season games/and low demand games but who would be willing to pay $125 per ticket to sit in the upper bowl corner? It makes me vomit thinking about it but at the end im a sucker and MSG knows they have me by the balls. The end is coming near for me, the second that demand drops and cant sell tickets to try and offset the cost of the games I want to attend/playoffs is the day that im peacing out. Next season will be an interesting year to see what happens.
I use to sell games on here at face value for certain games and I really cant do that anymore (sorry folks), however I do try to keep them comparable to ticketmaster prices except for the premium games (NYI, Philly, PIT, CHI, MTL is where I have to make my $$$ back)
Im curious if you know how much these seats will be via box office/ticketmaster?

Ticketmaster/BO is all dynamic pricing, including selling at BELOW season ticket holder price which happened regularly last October & November

A game can yo-yo between $190 to $49 and back up over $100 again in the course of several weeks. This is directly from the Rangers
