I thought they were gonna go off the wall and have red jerseys. I like the navy blue, it's the same as Columbus though. Nothing exciting.

Rangers are also teasing about the color, so expect Navy IMO:

Iím not a jersey collector but I really enjoyed the jerseys that had for the outdoor Flyers game, if these are just as nice, I may go out and get one.

Why do they always make the "special occasion" jerseys look so cheap?

    The Sabres' one?

I'm not sure the process, but I think it'd be awesome (especially in this kind of game) to make throwback sweaters. Literal sweaters, or some kind of design practice that replicates it on the ice.

The majority of outdoor jerseys, and what not, look like knockoffs of Chinese knockoffs. The Rangers have been ok, but it's only a matter of time.

I got a wool (might be a blend) throwback 1933 replica. All I can say is, if you can get your hands on one, do it.
I haven't seen one in a long time in a physical store. Haven't looked online, though.

Saw one concept of Sabres in mostly gold and Rangers is something that looked a lot like NY Americans' jerseys from 1940s. But the whole "curse" thing should stop that idea its tracks.

Either bring back the Liberty ones or the 1970s ones. They're both pretty good in their own way. Even Don Cherry, who hates alternates, likes the Liberty jerseys.

Rangers to Play Sabres at Citi Field in Winter Classic Next Season?

Curiosity question; Whatís the viewing like at one of these games? Seems like unless you are a bit elevated youíre going to watch the game on jumbotron. People sitting behind home plate? Wa$te of $$$ IMO.

Iím not too excited to view hockey from a distance. Even if the game was aired at Red Bulls Arena (capacity about 18,000) and every seat great, youíre still a looooooong way from the ice.

    Got my tickets yesterday.
I have one extra if anyone is interested. $320 for the ticket. Sec. 13, Row 18, Delta 360 Club Seats. So I believe their is access to the club to at least stay warm during intermission.

I got my ticket for $180, think we're sitting in the outfield but supposedly it's a decent view.
