Donations

With Christmas coming, we are going through my kids toys and looking to donate some of them. They are used, to in great condition, but not gone to shit either. I want to give them to kids who actually need toys or can't afford them, but I am having trouble finding places. I have the Salvation Army and I know big brothers big sisters, but I don't want to give it to someone who is going to turn around and sell them, Id rather give it to kids who can't afford them or to a children's hospital. The only hospital near us in in Stoney Brook, which is still almost an hour drive from me. If anyone knows any place on Long Island, preferably in Western Suffolk and Eastern Nassau, it would be greatly appreciated. We usually buy and donate the new toys as well, but we don't know who takes used toys.
