I heard because he was in the little boys room
“Practice isn't the thing you do once you're good. It's the thing you do that makes you good.”- Malcolm Gladwell
I was at Citifield for the NLDS, NLCS and WS games
Ces only disappeared from the WS intro
Bottom line is that there is something a little off about the guy. Again nobody can diminish what he meant for the Mets in August and September. Mets don't win the division without his bat and lineup presence.
On the flip we see just how poorly he performed in the crucial moments, and the stories about his work ethic, his game day golf outings, etc, there is a lot to take into account.
And in the end from all reports, the Mets are said to have absolutely zero interest in bringing him back, so any thoughts of him returning will be for naught anyway
Mets have brought back Colon.
http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/1...olo-colon.htmlThe Mets and Bartolo Colon have reached agreement on a one-year, $7.25MM deal, per Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (on Twitter). Sources tell Rosenthal (link) that Colon had better offers from other teams, but he wanted to remain with the Mets. Colon’s affinity for the Mets’ fans, his teammates, and the organization led him to re-up in Queens.
Mets Sign Alejandro De Aza to share CF duties
http://nypost.com/2015/12/22/mets-fi...jandro-de-aza/The Mets checked one significant item off their offseason shopping list Tuesday, agreeing to sign free-agent outfielder Alejandro De Aza to a one-year contract, The Post’s Mike Puma confirmed.
The deal is worth $4.5 million, according to ESPN, pending a physical.
Doesn't matter who because he sucks, they need a right handed bat with some pop
Exactly my point
where's my pot pipe.
Haha and after the first move after a world series appearance Mets fans are back to being miserable

well tbh. the pitching staff looks good if remains healthy and the division is weak. we should be there again. sure the cubs have made moves which on paper look good but it is on paper and it is the cubs.
nothing wrong with seeing how things look going into spring training and adjust again at the deadline if need be.
i love what cespedes brought us but he was a 222 hitter in sept and he did vanish in the world series. There were also questions about him golfing everyday and there is a reason why he is on 4 teams in 4 years and has yet to attract a long term deal.
More proof that the Wilpons are the most pathetic owners in sports. This is insulting.
Early word is that Piazza has made the baseball hall of fame!
He's in and he's wearing a Met hat. Great day for him, his family and Mets fans. He was the best hitter I've ever seen the Mets have.
Mets signed LHP Antonio Bastardo to be the set-up man to Familia.
https://www.sny.tv/mets/news/report-...ardo/162423034The Mets have agreed to terms with free-agent LH reliever Antonio Bastardo, according to MLB reporter Jon Heyman (Jan. 20).
The deal will be for $12 million over two years, according to Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com (Jan. 20).
Bastardo, 30, posted a 2.98 ERA and 1.13 WHIP last season for the Pirates while striking out 64 batters in 57 1/3 innings. He had reportedly been seeking a three-year deal.
And, the Nationals have an offer to Cespedes....
The Nationals have made an offer to Cespedes, while the Mets and White Sox remain willing to offer only a three-year deal (Jan. 20).
