Considering the forward prospect traded was in Finland all year and is an offensive talent, I disagree with you.

    Toronto couldn't get more elsewhere?

No he isn't. He's from Palmerston. A village 100 miles from Toronto. God damn city people think everything is a suburb.

I'm actually a suburbs child myself lol. My bad, thought it was closer than that! I guess he'd be considered upstate then.

They're going to have a lot of ELCs to fill out the lower lines and defensive pairs. Check out capfriendly, it gives a pretty good idea

But dont they have a ton of fairly big contracts? I thought they were up against the cap ceiling like us, with few ckntracts expiring. They also didnt send any money the other way.

Yes. Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Letang and Fleury account for $37.95m, or 53% of their cap. Right now they have 8 forwards, 6 defensemen and 1 goalie under contract with $6.4m in space to sign four forwards and spares. Works out to be $1.06m per spot. With a few ELCs around 60-750k, they'll fit. But they'll be probably the most top-heavy team in the NHL.

I'm stealing this joke, but it's official — your dad plays for the Penguins now.

And the Photoshop fun has been rolling in!
