"We had him highly rated and he was still there so we grabbed him," Clark said of Huska. "You never know with goalies what will spit out in three or four years. Plus he made the commitment to come over (to North America) and was outstanding in the U18 championships (for Slovakia). So we liked those things about him, too."

Do you have any info if he's going to pursue the NCAA or any other route after this year? Not sure how many guys stay in the USHL or even can stay for extended periods.

I think he's supposed to go the NCAA route, but hasn't committed anywhere yet.

Slovakia was outshot 44-6, Huska kept it close early but eventually the dam burst.

He looked very good from the bits I saw switching back and forth between games. Tracks the puck very well. Once Canada started splitting Slovakia's defense it just became tough with a lot of lateral passes. Should've had Jost's goal that opened it up, but he started moving laterally and shifted too far when it ultimately went high blocker.

I always forget about this guy. If he moves well, at his size, he could have some pretty nice upside.

3 good prospects in the pipeline right now, have to think one of them will hit.

Really good movement. He drops to butterfly a little quickly, but when you're 6'3" and still covering most of that upper net it's not as big an issue. If he were Manny Legace then you'd have had a problem.

UConn lists him as 6'4", for what it's worth.

But yea, size + athleticism is good to see.
