Whats really interesting about the Yankees is that, for once in my life theres some good rookie depth. Bird seems like a solid player. Refsnyder went back to AAA, but he seems like hes on the verge of cracking the MLB. Severino is a beast, 3 solid starts from a rookie. There's plenty more where that came from.

The Yankees of today might be good, but I think the Yankees of tomorrow are going to be scary.

Sportsnet is releasing the viewing numbers for the Yankees series and they are the most watched programs in Sportsnet history, smashing the Leafs/Habs opener this past year.

Viewing spiked at 3.14 million (Or 10% of the country) for the Tulo at bat in the 9th inning in Friday's loss. Duhhhhh Maybe they should have did this sooner?

If theres a winner in the Blue Jays hype train, its Montreal. If Baseball fever begins to take over Canada, i pray the Expos come back.

I'd love that too, and hopefully they went back to the NL so I could be a fan, but they don't have a Stadium, and I don't know how they could build one.

Is this what Yankee fans felt like for so long? Like there should be another league for them to play in?

A fan died tonight at Turner field after falling down from the upper deck. Sad.

Were they trying to get a ball or just fell? As a kid going to Spectrum I always had a fear I'd fall over with how tall the stands were.

From what I heard he was drunk and leaning on the railing to yell at A-Rod. Right now we can only assume that his falling down was the result of him being drunk and slipping.

As far as I'm concerned, let it rain.
