If so, the two shows I'd highly recommend are HBO's Game of Thrones, which is based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, and History Channel's Vikings, which is based on the life and conquests of Ragnar Lodbrok (Ragnar Lothbrok in the show) – a historical Norse legend, king and hero from the Viking Age. Game of Thrones I'd wait on, simply because you'd be catching up on four seasons to try to get to the coming fifth. Vikings is in its third season now. If you're just downloading stuff, I think Rescue Me and The Shield are both good watches....though they both get a little stale towards the end. Also, the Newsroom.
