phillyb
Been writing more and more music lately with a friend of mine. We have about three songs total, but have a tough time getting through them. Here's a vid of two of the songs if anyone's interested - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHREOBiz3MY
Vodka Drunkenski
Pretty impressive although would've been a lot better if the video was duckface dancing to it instead

Parsley
Great show last night. The energy these guys still have is amazing. http://i64.tinypic.com/96zz7p.jpg http://i66.tinypic.com/k52yqw.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/qo7lkw.jpg You can get a glimpse of yours truly at around 1:25 of the video at the bottom wearing the blue hat. The Dude
Anybody have a collection of 90's Long Island hardcore tapes/ CD's? Trying to find an oddball band from that time period. I had the tape but lost it. Band was called S.O.E. (some ones eyes), I believe they had an ep called "half a lifetime". Any suggestions would be appreciated. A lot of times you can find localized sections where vinyl junkies and collectors live who'll have this kind of stuff on file.

Go on YouTube, if you find a copy on there, there is a site that has a YouTube video converter that will turn a video into an MP3. I have done that with a couple of songs that weren't official releases by bands and that are B sides. I lost all of my old tapes because I never converted anything, it sucks. I've definitely done this as well. Here's the site I normally use - http://www.vidtomp3.com/

Only one song from the ep is up and it sounds horrible (bad conversion). I'll check on some hardcore forums like Phil suggested. But I reaaallllly want to avoid the hardcore "community". LOL. I have friends that are stillin it and they have ultimately become lame fake rockabilly hair doo, elitist, vegan babies.
phillyb
HA! I post on hxcboards, which used to be a thriving community with thousands of members, some of them in the bands we all listened to. Now it's 20 dudes who essentially hate each other but share this common bond - hxcboards - and keep coming back for more. No LIHC questions though. That'd surely be shunned upon. Parsley
I could be dreaming, but this sounds like old school Korn. Like the best I've heard them in over a decade. I can only hope that the rest of the upcoming new album sounds like this.
Phil
Really digging that new Korn track. Was always a big fan of theirs growing up.
Parsley
Really digging that new Korn track. Was always a big fan of theirs growing up. Yeah, that song takes me back 15+ years. Everything about it is great. I'm in a state of shock because honestly when I went to watch it on YouTube today I was cringing when I started it fearing something weak. It's the exact opposite. Parsley
Mediocre. Never a big fan anyway. Understandable. For them though it's a step in the right direction after steering well off course. (Atleast to my ears)
The Dude
Really digging that new Korn track. Was always a big fan of theirs growing up. I love his growls, but the whole"twist" (as in the Korn song twist) gibberish makes me hate it. Just fucking scream.
