Jeez Pete, you sure like to play devils advocate lol

Is it really an outrageous statement to say he has the best shot on this team? Who on our team besides Nash and Marty can you really say is a goal scorer? Maybe Kreider, but even most of his goals come from a few feet from the net.

It's outrageous because of what you're basing it on.

It's outrageous because he's played zero professional hockey games. Zero. Until we see him do anything in a game against his peers it all means nothing.

calm down. looks like we signed someone with potential... not a bad thing for sure but there's a whole bus stop full of guys with potential...

i would love to see a few kids make this team but nothing wrong with letting them slowly develop and bring them up when there ready.

unfortunately with million dollar ticket prices the garden goes for the quick fix but i like that sather has signed these types of players. dont rush them. let them get seasoning and hopefully we have a team full of Jeter's running around out there in the next 3 years.

He has scored at every level he jas played and has a reputation for having a good shot, that should count for something, not many rangers on this team had a reputation of having a good shot

That type of logic doesn't hold water. Let's just see him play against NHL players in a week, no?

Well, it's put up or shut up time. If he's truly got one of the best shots on the team, he'll make the team.
