I'm just about finished my 3 week vacation and I'm pretty certain my wife is going to leave me.

Anyone been to Smugglers Notch or Stowe Vermont? Looking to make a summer vacation up there. Never been to Vermont before. Any suggestions? (Wife, 3 year old, 1 year old and myself)

I lived in Burlington Vermont for a year and a half. Burlington is absolutely beautiful during the summer months. Nice relaxing along Lake Champlain. Plenty of activities that are drive-able with the many mountains around. Very chill area, and best thing, fresh air.

I've had good experiences with using Airbnb. We used it in Iceland and paid peanuts for better accommodations than others who used traditional methods. I think researching neighbourhoods, Google street view, and reading their reviews are key.

As for tips in SC? Bring your MAGA gear.

I love South Carolina, wish I had a green card.

Oh Im planning a trip possibly this year or early next year to Iceland. Any help on that would be appreciated too. Will be looking to airbnb there also.

Ive been to SC, Myrtle Beach and that I think is more of a MAGA area than Charleston.

OK, I'm a Reykjavik expert now, but we didn't do much nature shit, so I can't help much there.

It's insanely expensive to the point of absurdity but I could help you avoid all the stuff I got suckered in to.

Yeah I know its very expensive, especially the food. Everything has to be imported.
My plan of as now would be to go next February (have to go when my daughter is off of school and send her to the grandparents for the week), do the Northern Lights, other than that no "nature shit" we will be doing. Just mainly Reykjavik.

OK, if you're lucky you'll see the greatest view of the lights on your flight in.

If you want an apartment style accommodation let me know. I had a very nice place for reasonable money but my parents had an even nicer place, in a primo location and it comes with an SUV for about the same money.

I'm driving up to Quebec next thursday for the winter carnival. Anyone ever been? Recommendations for what to do in Quebec other than the festival?

I love AirBnb. The price is really the best thing about it.

The only thing I avoid - and I always have - is that some of the places have a "room" which means you're essentially living with the home/apartment owner. I guess that can be good if you want a tour guide or something, and AirBnb reviews are pretty good in that regard - but it's not for me.

Decided to go to LA in 2 weeks for my birthday. Don't have much planned besides eating and relaxing.

Also holy crap its ridiculously expensive to rent a car at LAX and soo much cheaper to do it from wherever else. Like legit $100 price difference between LAX pickup and pickup in the valley where I'm staying.

Anyone recommend a good travel agent in New York? I never knew planning a damn honeymoon is more stressful than the wedding lol. We have no idea where to stay in Hawaii

Has anyone been to Fiji? That looks up our alley too but it seems very quiet.

    Yes.

Travel agents don't charge you directly. Their revenue come from carriers, hotels and cruise lines etc. So I guess they are reasonable
