Jules
...and it rocks like they haven't done in 10 years. LINK: http://soundcloud.com/theboiler/limp-bizkit-gold-cobra I'm excited to hear the rest of their new album. It will released soon too and it's loud as hell for all we hear so far. Anyone else excited? :o
Phil
I gave it a whirl, but honestly, not that into it. I thought the new Korn track was much better, frankly. The chorus/melody is awful IMO.
Jules
I was never a big fan of Korn, so can't really judge their new work. I was just glad that last Deftones album was damn good.
Phil
You'd probably like the new Korn work more than the older stuff. The new track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Lqq5QwApjs

LindG1000
LB hasn't had a good album since Significant Other, so I won't be getting my hopes up here.

Parsley
Yeah, everyone is different, especially when it comes to music. Overall, i don't think their "style" has changed a whole lot since the 90s.......and to me, that's a good thing. I'm sure album sales for this new album will be low in comparison to the past, but I'm just happy they are going to release something, especially with all the emo, garbage floating around these days on radio/tv, etc.
Phil
I'm in the minority in that, usually. I like when bands change. Proves to me they're artists, and not con-artists. Bands that tend to put out the same record over-and-over again either really like that sound, which is fine, or are doing so because they know people will continue to buy it, which is a con to me. Takes very little effort to record what is essentially the same 12 songs from album-to-album with minor tweaks and name changes.

I've never been one of these music critics who bashes a band for evolving or changing its style, as long as it doesn't compromise who they are. You also notice that with many bands they do whats popular in their beginning and once they get established they tend to create what they truly like and the sound they always wanted to have. Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
This is terrible. Nothing like Significant other. Even Chocolate Starfish was pretty good, but I'm not a fan of this at all.
ThirtyONE
Golden Cobra is horrible. sorry. That chorus sucks and the lyrics make no sense. Is Wes back with the band? he was the only guy I ever liked.
Jules
Is Wes back with the band? he was the only guy I ever liked. Yeah, he is, which is why I look forward to the album. The riffs sound better than the last few shitty albums they released.
Parsley
This is only one song... Wes is back.......can't wait to hear the whole album.
Jules
The whole album is out. And it's oldschool Bizkit, kinda like in 1999-2000 and it's fun. Lyrics suck, as always, but the riffs are fucking LOUD. Wes Borland is going berserk all album long and I'm lovin' it.
