Blueshirts Brotherhood. We do what we must because we can - for the good of all Rangerkind
Sam has to pronounce his name just like the Russian announcer guy. Nice move, Buch!
Another point for Pavel through 1 period (assist).
The Rangers are trying to bring Pavel Buchnevich to North America to play for the Wolf Pack either on a PTO or by signing him to an entry-level contract. (NY Post)
Buchnevich’s KHL team did not make the playoffs and his contract in the KHL is believed to have expired. (NY Post)

Now playing in the lower level MHL playoffs. Is 7-10-17 in 8 games. Obviously dominating it.

What's holding him back from playing the end of the season and playoffs in the AHL? The WCs?

Buchnevich's MHL team knocked out of the playoffs. 20 points in 10 games.
So that begs the question...
Would be awesome if he skipped the WC to join us for our playoffs..... like CK did
His contract in the KHL still isn't up until April 31. There are rumors that he won't get a WC invite since the camps have already started and he went to the MHL instead. Gotta wait and see.
@NYP_Brooksie: Per agent Mark Gandler, Pavel Buchnevich has signed a one-year extension to play in KHL next season. New York will have to wait.
We might not have to if he has an opt out clause. Have to wait for the details.
Well that's certainly disapointing.
How old is he now? Maybe this will work in the Rangers favor. One more year to develop while the Rangers figure out how to fix the cap hell they're in.
