  1. It doesn't matter if your goalie sucks if you're scoring 7 goals a game
  2. The other GMs don't want this. There are too many injuries during the playoffs. The GMs want taxi squads. The teams aren't complaining. Only the fans are. Would I like to see the loophole closed? Sure. Are rules being broken? No. Would anyone complain if Chytil, Wennberg, or Roslovic score a Cup clinching goal? No. As for knocking Stone, that's kinda crazy as I'm sure if it were up to him he wouldn't have lacerated his own spleen and sat out. There's a serious lack of perspective on all this.
  3. This is exactly how I felt. The game went exactly as it should have, the people who needed to score scored, it couldn't have been scripted better. This team has something special going on, especially feels that way with a guy like Rempe scoring first then leading the charge. Now who knows what happens later on, hockey is hockey and the team playing the best hockey will win, but it couldn't have been a better start.
  4. For them to be traveling to Canada for spring hockey, I'd imagine they don't suck LOL.
  5. Looks like they're a tier 1 team in the AAHA.
  6. You don't get brownie points for blind faith. He's finally showing why he was drafted number one.
  7. Couldn't have scripted a better game one. Laviolette handling of Rempe was masterful.
  8. And this is a person who married you... Without even really knowing you.
  9. I would be surprised to see him coaching in the league again. The Islanders turned to a guy who hasn't been in the league for 10 years to be their coach. Oilers had an opening. Devil's had one. St. Louis had one. Jackets hired Babcock before calling GG. He's a fraud and the book is out.
  10. He just happened to be there when things that probably would have happened anyway, happened to happen. If he's such a phenomenal coach how come he never lasts more than two seasons?
