  1. Kaapo Kakko is third on the team in points and scores 6 goals to go with his 5 assists.
  2. The Red Wings still have no idea who their goaltender is. Give me that team.
  3. Yes, absolutely. Went from Verizon to Mint to Google Fi without losing my number.
  4. I used to use Mint Mobile, maybe about 6 or 7 years ago. The price can't be beat, but I found the cell service to be sub-par. I'd often have people tell me they tried to call me and the call wouldn't go through or text me and I never would receive the text. One time I didn't get an important call, and I immediately unsubscribed. This is when I was living in NYC, so I wasn't out in the boonies. Maybe it's better now, but I can't trust them. Right now, I'm on Google Fi and I have been since I dropped Mint. Google Fi is totally fine for me - I don't use much data so my phone bill is rarely higher than $35/month. I don't have any issues with anyone being able to reach me. I would say go for it and give it a shot for a month or two. A nice thing about these MVNOs is they have little to no contract obligations, so you can hop around to find what works best for you.

  6. The Devils really should be kicking themselves for being so bad this season though. Even without Hughes at 100% and Hamilton out, they should have been at the very least battling for the playoffs among the crop of shit in the Eastern Conference. Their injuries are no excuse - their goaltending was horrendous all year, their defense was doing them no favors, and their powerplay was atrocious for a team of their talent level. It was a bad mix right from the hop and a smarter team would have done something earlier. Firing Ruff when they did and going for that goaltending hail Mary at the end says to me they weren't quite sure what to do at various points of the year.
  7. Yeah, the bullpen is a flaw, but their starting pitching has been pretty good to start - Nestor was nasty last night. Plus, if they can keep hitting, they can hit their way out of most problems.
  8. @Keirik hard fought week last week. We both had strong offensive performances, but the goalies inevitably made the difference. Had me biting my nails that last night.

  10. And it burns a year of his ELC, so he gets to his next contract faster. Makes total sense from his perspective.
  11. It's wild we're here talking like this after that preseason. I guess that's a lesson to us all.
