Saw some interesting stats from March 8th (Trouba’s injury) onwards. Trouba xGF% 57.6% PDO 88.3 Zac Jones xGF% 48.3% PDO 105.2 The poster also makes a good point that Trouba’s awful defending can’t entirely be responsible for a PDO 17 points lower and an .840 sv% from his goalies. Prior to injury, Trouba’s PDO was 99.5. Point is, the coaching staff likely sees the analytics regressing back to the mean in the future. They aren’t going to bench him. Even if the eye test stinks.

This isn't basketball where one player drives an entire team. Kaapo Kakko and Brodzinski are not the same as Panarin and Fox. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

I think that's more to do with the rest of PP2 than it is a true indicator of Lafreniere's ability on the PP. When he filled in on PP1, he looked like he belonged.

Attempting to dive into the Jedi versus Sith wars long before any other mainstream Star Wars content available on the timeline is interesting. It's a bit too niche for most (see above), and they'll have to get it right for the Legends junkies or those that played games like KOTOR. Being a Star Wars junkie for everything beyond the feature films, I'm game.

For a year, I worked for a "company" that had season tickets to almost every single team across the four major sports leagues and resold them on Stubhub, Ticketmaster, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, etc. This law is targeted at those people. I have a feeling the ambiguity of the law means the Sabres ticket sales reps aren't sure how it impacts their season ticket holders who sell the majority of their tickets. The likely smart thing for those folks to do is just buy smaller packages for games they actually go to.
