  1. Good stuff. Thorough analysis. Makes a lot of sense and is encouraging to hear.
  2. I ask this as this will give us further clues on what types of players we will go after and/or confirm why why have made certain type of moves already .
  3. Yup. That stinks. Back to Danault/ Eichel and possibly trading Strome and maybe Chytil.
  4. Kreider is better utilized when he uses his big body in a more contact heavy game. Gallant probably will utilize this a whole lot more than Quinn did. Kreider is not a consistent enough scorer to just be a skill guy and get away with it.
  5. If Landeskog can play Center full time effectively this could be the best move. All other Center options seem to be either only defense with little offense or are potentially too expensive via trade.
  6. Strome stats were 'inflated' a bit by superior linemates.
  7. For better or worse, they are changing the image of the team folks. When you make this many changes: GM, Pres, Coach....roster re-shaping usually follows too.
  8. Why is he Gallants type of player? Is he tough to play against?
  9. New GMs almost always like to re-mold teams .... https://www.foreverblueshirts.com/rangers-trade-pavel-buchnevich-to-st-louis-blues-likely-more-deals-coming/
  10. Link: -- We lose some offense but he is very tough to play against and one of the better 2 way guys in the league. Just don't trade Strome for a bag of chips like you did Buch please. And don't swing to pendulum too far the other way sacrificing offense for toughness either....
