You were trying to convice people that the team was bad when most people were just happy to see the team make the playoffs again. Now when people try to say something along the same lines about this team you jump on them with a «you’re not a real fan» attitude. Just pointing out the hypocracy - that’s all.

it feels like last year made people forget how good the team was in the 21/22 season. They ended on almost the same amounts of points as this year and they had the swagger and demeanor of a great team. They had many comeback wins that year too (that’s why the whole no quit in NY thing started). There’s obviously some minor roster changes and other tactically differences between the coaches, but it’s the same core playing (almost) the same way.

You know that’s exactly what you did in 2021-22, right? You kept banging on about how they’re «just an elite goalie and PP», how they can’t score 5v5 and that the coach sucks. Over and over and over again. I also remember a few «I told you so» after the Tampa series.
