Adam Banks is Chris Drury. Dude was money, he just ran into injury issues after the McGill and Sanderson incidents.

 

I dunno how you can't like the best player on the team. He had it all — brains, soft hands, sick shot, went to the net, etc. He even tried to play through the Sanderson wrist injury. Tough as nails.

Your compaisons are terrible.

 

Banks has way more skill than Drury. He's a deadly scorer like Gaborik, but controls the play a little more. Hopefully Nash can be our Banks.

 

Wu is Sjostrom. Fanstatic skater, tried, didn't show for much.

Banks went to the net and took abuse in front just to make plays. "I'm open, I'm open! Do something with it!"

 

When's the last time you saw G?bor?k park up front like that? That's Drury/Parise more than it is G?bs.

 

Drury also had plenty of skill. Go watch any of his highlights from Buffalo and Colorado for proof of that.

Banks was a complete hockey player. He played all sides of the puck very well and had great offensive instincts to compliment a great-two way skill set. Chris Drury, Zach Parise, Ryan Kesler, Mike Richards, etc. all fit the mold there in terms of comparisons.

Banks broke all the pee-wee scoring records. He's muich closer to Crosby than Drury.

Drury was a decent captain.

 

Conway was a whiny little bitch of a captain.

 

Conway is three different captains in all three movies.

 

In MD2 he's huge, giving up his own spot for Tyler.

 

In MD3 he's like Crosby in year one. He even quits on the team.

He still got the C after calling out the coach on several occasions, including implying things about his daughter, causes tension within the team, quit and made Fulton quit, refused to play D, broke his stick over the net, celebrated when the coach said "Act like you've scored before", disobeyed the coach and played against Varsity, made the school change to Ducks instead of Warriors, stole ants...
