The 90's probably has one of the widest ranges of music that was considered popular, sometimes ground breaking, and all together "different." Rap exploded, grunge, alternative rock, multiple genre's being blended, and probably the last generation of musicians, artists or acts with true personality. That doesn't mean it was always good. I'm going to include any music through 01 in this too, since 00 and 01 are still pretty firmly routed in the same styles of music.
