Looks decent. I cant wait for Hit Somebody by Kevin Smith to come out. In interviews, it sounds like it is going to be awesome, plus Kevin Smith rules.

Anyone hear of it? Seen it yet? Looks like it has been out on limited release for some time now, as it has some votes on IMDB. Looks like a nationwide release in January 2012, but not much information on it. Looks like an updated version of Slap Shot, though it is not a remake. Looks interesting, but not enough to get me into the theaters. Will await the DVD release and get it on Netflix.

Only reason I would watch it is for Liev Schreiber. It's such a different role for him. Normally, he's very gentlemanly and seeing his face on that poster got me interested. Can't stand Sean William Scott, though. Nor do I care for these hockey movies that just make the players seem like idiots.

He wasn't exactly gentlemanly in X-men or Defiance.

Didn't see either.

I don't go to movies so not sure if anyone saw this... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1456635/

Edit... I guess you did... you're all being too sensitive, Leiv Schreiber alone makes it interesting

Just watched this. It was actually better then I thought it would be. I think people on here would enjoy it as long as you don't go into it expecting much.

It was very good. Jay Baraschel almost ruined it imo. Without his character it would have been great, luckily he's not in it that much.

I'm not a fan of him either. Can't stand anyone from his crew, for that matter, but I can deal with him being in it based on how little he's in it.

I wasn't thrilled with this movie, it had some decent parts, but nothing where I feel I have to watch it a second time. I am waiting for the Kevin Smith hockey movie, he is writing it now. You know it will be good because he is an avid hockey fan.

Have you seen the other shit he's done? I have zero faith in his ability to put out great films.

That said, I'm excited for Rob Zombie's Broad Street Bullies.

The only really bad movie he has done is Jersey Girl, everything else has been good. I love Clerks, Mall Rats and Chasing Amy. Cop Out was decent as well, but he didnt write that one, he just directed it.

The only movie he's written I really enjoyed was Dogma. Mallrats, Clerks and Chasing Amy are OK comedies, but they're cult classics, not really pinnacles of spectacular writing.

Have you seen what happens when he tries to get serious? Go watch "Red State". Talk to me when it's over — we can share in wanting that 88 minutes of our lives back together.

Isn't he a Devils fan?

He also plays with Gretzky every year in his dek hockey charity tourny and plays goalie in a dek hockey league.
