ESPN President John Skipper announced today that he is resigning from his position, citing a substance addiction problem. Former ESPN President and Executive Chairman George Bodenheimer (who worked at ESPN from 1981-2014) will serve as Acting Chair of the company for the next 90 days, overseeing the transition process.

Probably a result of all that white guilt he had working there.

Sucks they had to announce why he left, but in this day and age, everyone would be coming up with some insane reasons for his departure.

Is it weird that I'm happy it's for drugs and not harrassment?

I highly doubt it's for drugs alone, if at all.

I don't know, ESPN is the champion of liberal ideologies. They would love to fire a 1%er getting tax breaks and forcing women and minorities to work for peanuts for sexual harassing a woman or spouting racial slurs.
