Former NHL player Sean Avery was arrested last week on two criminal charges.

Avery was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanours.

According to the report, the criminal mischief charge was for Avery allegedly throwing objects at passing vehicles. He also was found to be in possession of two prescription drugs, acetaminophen with oxycodone and roxicodone

He apparently tweeted his prescription for the drugs later, so that's likely nothing. Doesn't look like he was charged for it either.

And then he tweeted a video of cops arresting someone as he was walking by? I think he's sarcastic and angry at the cops. I don't really know though, sarcasm is hard to gauge on twitter

And he didn't black out all the information too including his home address. He's also taking Cialis and drugs for STDs among other things as well.

Yeah, but I just got a prescription for azithromycin last week for an upper respiratory infection. It's not strictly for STDs, nowhere close actually. Back when I used to play the saxophone a lot more, I used to get salivary gland infections that would make my face blow up like I had mumps. The Z-Pack was the first script they handed out every time.

I wasn't stating it as a means to be a negative connotation which is why I said it is commonly used to treat a number of STDs, not exclusively. When you search it this is how it is listed.

I am just surprised he crossed out the description and not the most important part.

Yea... But who's gonna go look up the NDC for what he crossed off?

At the top of the page. Crossing something out only brings attention to it, and it wasn't like I was the only person to notice it. Just really dumb on his part to post an entire list.

Yea, I saw his address. He was stupid to tweet that. Guess what I'm saying is my first instinct isn't to figure out what he's hiding. That's just me.

I mean, he posted it on the internet and redacted it poorly. Kinda asking for it.

Oh no, I get that. I saw the thing get shared and talked about. I didn't understand how people knew what he was taking and then I saw the other information that was left there.

Gotcha no worries. I think the most alarming thing is the amount of prescriptions of pain killers. I wonder how the NHLPA feels about something like this being out there when the league is about to look into the drug policy in general.

Well, he's not a player and we don't know his medical history.

All these guys are fucked up physically.

You don't come back early from major injuries and surgery because you're a warrior. You do it because you're numb and if you are a bubble player, you have to.

Marian Hossa plays 60 games a year because he hurts and he's good enough to sit.

Being a "gamer" just means you're good enough to play while high.
