[I]QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“That’s it, baby, I’m going to get those free suits,”

— [Head Coach] Alain Vigneault on his real motivation in re-inserting Duclair into the lineup was to get a couple of free suits from Duclair’s uncle, who apparently runs a suit business.

Not sure I agree with Duclair in over Malone, with Kreider likely to have to face the music for injuring price, I'd rather have size.

NYRangers723
10-25-2014, 05:23 PM
I doubt they go near kreider. Prust tried and kreider basically laughed in his face lol. Also it would be dumb to target him since this game will be under a micropscope so any intent to injury will cost montreal

Pete
10-25-2014, 05:40 PM
A little confused...If you don't think they'll target Kreider, why would the game be under a microscope?

If someone knocked Lundqvist out of a playoff series, I'd hope that guy would have to answer the bell.

Nice first shift by Duclair.

Phil in Absentia
10-25-2014, 07:20 PM
If a Canadiens play has an opportunity to put Kreider on his ass, they're going to, with aplomb. Months ago or not, Kreider was responsible for knocking Price, and the Habs' chances in that series out of it. That's not easily forgettable unless you were on the winning side.

And you (the proverbial 'you') are missing the point if you think that moment was "ruined" or "wasted" by letting the arenas sing in place of him.

Price hasn't been that great this season. I feel like we didn't create enough high quality chances

Sucks to lose but MTL played an outstanding game here and Price was quite excellent. Rangers didn't even play too bad but this is the ECF leading Habs on top of their game. We made them play defense for the entirety of the third period and much of the first too. No shame for this loss, on to the next.

I agree, felt like Rangers controlled the game most of the time, just typical Rangers pressuring to the point where opponent have to take a time out then they go out and get a chance and it gets in...

Rangers played fine, just couldn't beat a good goalie. It happens, onto the next game

Me too. Let them chant it in October. We got to chant it as their season ended in our house in May. :)

In all honesty, don't think the Rangers have played much bad hockey this year. I think for the most part, they've looked good. Maybe a little unorganized at points. And they definitely have gotten some unfortunately bad bounces in some games. In this case, that bad bounce was unfortunately the fact that Price played amazing. But I truly believe they've played more good hockey than bad thus far.

I agree. Stepan and Boyle back in the lineup should help balance everything out and resolve some of the "unorganization"
