Columbus has maybe one forward we really need to worry about. If they come out and play like they did vs. the Blues we should get it done pretty easily

Speaking of which, Tim Erixon lol. Wonder how long he's going to last this time around

How long for a separated shoulder? 4-6 weeks?

Depends on the severity. Whether it's dislocated, or just separated also matters.

Datsyuk suffered a "second degree" separation earlier this year and was estimated 4-6 weeks.

Yup. Ranger's D is about 50% competent at the moment. It goes Mac, Staal, G... about fifty miles before Klein... John Moore and the rest of the barely-NHL players.

Or, in other words, one superstar D, two above average D and three 6/7th defenders.

I like the element of physicality that Glass offers, but he's freakin' slow compared to the rest of our team.

Well when you have MSL, MZA, Kreider, Hagelin, Duclair, Moore, yea he's gonna seem slow.

Yeah, painfully average, as nights like this show you.

Pretty clear he's not really a second pairing player. Not full time, at last.

There's a reason he and JM saw such protected minutes last season.

There's a reason he and JM saw such protected minutes last season.

He's got G syndrome, except G is at least decent when away from Staal/McD. When Klein is not pared with one of them, he's meh at best. When he is, he's serviceable.

I hope the organization doesn't look at him as a long term player.

10 is at the refs discretion I thought.

46.11 Instigator - An instigator of an altercation shall be a player who by his actions or demeanor demonstrates any/some of the following criteria: distance traveled; gloves off first; first punch thrown; menacing attitude or posture; verbal instigation or threats; conduct in retaliation to a prior game (or season) incident; obvious retribution for a previous incident in the game or season.

A player who is deemed to be the instigator of an altercation shall be assessed an instigating minor penalty, a major penalty for fighting and a ten-minute misconduct.

If the same player or goalkeeper is deemed to be the instigator of a second altercation in the same game, he shall be assessed an instigating minor penalty, a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct.

When a player receives his third instigator penalty in one Regular season, he is automatically given a game misconduct following that third violation.

A player who is deemed to be both the instigator and aggressor of an altercation shall be assessed an instigating minor penalty, a major penalty for fighting, a ten-minute misconduct (instigator) and a game misconduct penalty (aggressor).

doesn't look like it's at the discretion of the refs.
