That's fucking awesome. I bet he wanted to scout the Florida area exclusively.

I heard about this awhile ago that he was doing some scouting during the regular season. Awesome to see him as a full time scout.

Can we see if he can accurately assess talent before we call it awesome? :)

Wonder if he shows the same amount of passion during scouting meetings as he did when he scored.

Slats: Vinny, what do you think of the European kid you saw last week?

Slats: That good?

Slats: Do you think he'd fit in with our culture here?

Slats: Well, I'm sold. How could I possibly argue against such an astute, mathematically accurate talent assessment? Eight years, $8M per. Let's get his agent on the phone.

I'm impressed and happy with the amount of quality ppl the Rangers organization is stocking up on.

This is why players constantly refer to the Rangers as a "top class" organization.

Yes, there are perhaps more prestigious and successful teams with arguably more rabid fanbases - but the Rangers simply treat their players like gold.

They treat everyone like gold. Dolan may make ticket prices high but they treat fans well, players, workers. They're world class and everyone knows it

How do they treat the fans well? They dropped all the fan tests they used to do, they barely do promotion give aways, and they are one of the most expensive tickets in the NHL.

How Will we ever know that? lol Not like there's a way to track who scouted who. Though that would be pretty cool.

Um, yes there is, if you know where to look. I think we all know who scouted Lundqvist, don't we?

I'd imagine you can make fair assumptions based on the region that a player comes from.
