siddious
Essentially my mother makes over 80k a year. she was under my fathers health plan from his job but he is retired now and eligible for some options that my mother is not eligible for and she must now find a decent health insurance. I am honestly clueless about this and dont know where to begin. Most of what im seeing (checked out empire blue cross and emblem so far) makes no sense.. $3-700 a month and then a $6000 deductible? wtf is the point? who has this kind of money? Am i missing something? she just wants her doctors visits covered and her medication covered. Any suggestions on health insurance companies to check? Any and all help would be very appreciated. Phil
Right here, bud. https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/ Have her register and fill in all the forms. She should undoubtedly be offered a handful of affordable plans.
